The management and staff welcome you and trust that you will enjoy your visit.

No electricity - solar lights and gas only

The Rest Camp consists of three private, fully-equipped chalets.  Each chalet sleeps four people and, on request, a maximum of two further mattresses per chalet can be provided at an additional cost.

The chalets are equipped with gas appliances (hot water, fridge and 3 plate stove only), and solar lights, but no electricity or telephones.  Visitors need only supply their own food and refreshments.  The chalets are serviced once per day.

The Rest Camp has its own private swimming pool, lapa area and jungle gym for extra-small children.

Features include open-plan kitchen, lounge/dining room area, two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, veranda and braai facility, swimming pool, small jungle gym, small communal lapa, gas only, no electricity.

Log Cabins

For those looking for something a bit more contemporary, we present the five private, fully equipped log cabins overlooking the Lion Cmp.

Each Log Cabin offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideally serving 4 people, but up to 2 additional residents can be accommodated at additional cost.  Have a braai, or just unwind in the Jacuzzi, surrounded by natural beauty and the occasional sound of a lion's roar.

Day visitors can explore the reserve in their own vehicles along well-maintained gravel roads suited for any vehicle, with a few branching 4x4-exclusive roads for the more adventurous explorer. A leisurely drive through the reserve will take approximately 2-3 hours and usually ends with a stop at the Kiosk / Day Visitors Centre where many braai and picnic facilities are available, along with the Boma Restaurant and Croc Pub, Children's Play Park, Wild Life Centre and Reptile Park. Other facilities include the incredible Wondercave, the Neck & Deck Café situated just outside the entrance of the reserve where one can feed a giraffe, the Breeding Centre, Hippo Pools, Thatch Café and the Cradle Bike Park.

With such a variety of fun-filled adventure, we guarantee there's something for everyone!
