Lesedi Cultural Village

Lesedi Cultural Village
The Lesedi Cultural Village is set in the bushveld and rocky hills of Lanseria, Johannesburg. It is popular amongst locals and visitors from around the world.

The Lesedi Village was established in 1993 with the vision to provide an authentic showcase of a variety of South Africa's tribes and of their fascinating cultural traditions.

The Cultural Village offers visitors a glimpse into the Zulu, Ndebele, Basotho, Pedi and Xhosa life. This experience is open to the whole family and you may chose to spend the day or even stay overnight to enjoy the full tradition of songs and dance before touring the individual homesteads. There is also a craft market where you can browse and purchase some of the local works of art that has been hand crafted by the locals. You will also be able to enjoy the tastes of these cultures with delicious foods from across the continent - a great African Feast.

The Lesede Cultural Village is open every day of the week. Admire the African sun sets and enjoy the festive atmosphere, meet new people and enjoy lots of fun and laughter. Be sure not to miss out on this African Experience.
