Bruma

Bruma is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa which has a history of over 20 years and it is mostly known for a small lake which is being treated to reduce water borne pollution, and for its popular flea market which sold souvenirs from across the African continent. The flea market has closed to make way for the Bruma Oriental City. The residential area is renown for compact, beautiful houses and townhouses. The neighbouring suburbs include Cyrildene, Bedfordview and Kensington.

The main shopping centre in the area is Eastgate shopping centre, Johannesburg, which is one of the largest shopping centres in Johannesburg. Excellent transport links serve Bruma with the R24 , N12 and N3 Eastern Bypass highways all easily accessible. The R24 highway leads directly to Johannesburg Airport (approximately 15 minutes drive from Bruma).
