This is the last cut-off point in the "down run" of the world-famous Comrades Marathon between KwaZulu-Natal provincial capital Pietermaritzburg and Durban. Berea, Durban is one of KwaZulu Natal's most up-market suburbs, (10 minutes from Manor Gardens accommodation).
