The park’s origins stem from a bold vision to bring global contemporary art into dialogue with the local environment. Through its extensive artist residency programme, creatives from South Africa and around the world are invited to live and work on-site, drawing inspiration from the land and its remarkable cultural and palaeontological heritage. In return, participating artists contribute sculptures and installations to the park’s permanent and long-term collection, ensuring that each visit feels fresh, unexpected and deeply engaging.

From abstract forms and monumental pieces to contemplative figural sculptures, punctuate the verdant lawns, waterways and pathways. Artists represented span the globe, offering a rich cross-section of creative voices and materials. Seasonal and curated exhibitions further expand the experience, inviting visitors to encounter art in constantly evolving ways.
