Our Karoo View House is fabulous for group bookings / families sleeping 6+ in 3 en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms, private pool, braai, log fireplaces and spacious living & dining with magnificent views.

Step inside and discover tastefully decorated interiors with plenty of attention to detail, including double volume natural reed ceilings, offering 72 sqm of open-plan living and sleeping with air conditioners and large Karoo log fireplaces. Spacious en-suite bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchens and private entrance with safe covered off street parking at your front door.

Relax and unwind after your travels with a sun downer on your private stoep or in our stone boma, which is fully equipped for braaing, whilst watching the awesome light changing as the moon rises up over the Swartberg Mountains.

Two cottages are truly wheelchair friendly with level and easy access from car to inside, large roll in shower with grab rails, fold down seat and hand held shower, grab rails and trigger shower next to the toilet and ramp onto front stoep.

Accommodation at Karoo View Cottages:

Safe, secure parking at your private entrance allows for easy access before you step inside your spacious 72sqm modern open-plan Karoo cottage comprising double volume reed ceilings, Karoo log fireplace, air conditioner, mozzie net, including all your "home from home" comforts. Children welcome and pets by prior arrangement.

Beds with hip-support are complete with beautiful percale linen, luxurious duvet, 100% cotton throws, electric blanket and your choice of bed size.

Tiled en-suite bathroom with either large shower or bath with 'his and her' vanities, including bath sheets, bathrobes, hair dryer, shaver point, wall heater, trigger shower and natural olive bathroom amenities. 2 Bathrooms are wheelchair friendly with easy access, large open shower, grab rails, special seat, 2 Shower Heads and grab rail next to the toilet.

Large kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you would need to "cook up a storm" including coffee plunger, mocha pot and snack-which maker. Bed and Breakfast supplies, fresh milk and juice from Gayes dairy and "real coffee" are replenished daily including servicing of your cottage.

Lounge and dining areas are luxurious, yet homely, with attention to detail in all aspects, including flat screen TV and free Wifi.

Relax on your private stoep watching the ever changing shadows on the Swartberg Mountain as the moon rises or experience our magical star filled sky, whilst listening to your crackling fire in the boma or in your private braai area, all fully equipped including firewood, blitz and kindling, which are replenished daily. Pre-order a braai basket and pick your herbs and veggies with our compliments from our organic tunnel.

As the dawn awakens, listen for the call of owls and wake to the chatter of birds as the sun shows her face over the Robert Gordon Koppie, whilst enjoying your magnificent Karoo view, in all directions, like no other in the village.

Cottages have direct access to our natural indigenous gardens with nature paths that will lead you on a journey of exploration, whilst looking for Glacial Morrans, magnificent birds, interesting insects and beautiful flora.

All 4 Cottages are equipped with the following for your comfort and convenience:

3 Cereals including Home baked Muesli, Home Baked Rusks, Prince Albert Honey, Home Made Marmalade & Jams. Nescafe coffee, Plunger coffee grounds, 5 Roses and Rooibos tea, White, brown sugar & Sugar sweeteners. Fresh Milk & Juice from our local dairy & Filtered Water, all of which are replenished daily. Salt, Pepper, Spray n Cook, Paper Serviettes, Paper Towel, Toothpicks, Dish washing detergent, swabs, T Towels.

Kitchens are fully equipped including: 4 Plate Gas Hob with electric oven, Microwave, Large Fridge with ample freezer capacity and 1 cottage has a dishwasher.

Lounge and Dining areas are spacious with comfortable seating for 6 people. Basket of firewood, firelighters/blitz and kindling.

We offer you a choice of bed sizes, dependent on availability: EL King, King, Queen, EL Twin, Std Double Bed Sleeper Couch. Additional Single EL Beds - upon request, as well as baby cot with Percale Bed linen - additional cost. Extra Pillows, Blankets, Knee Rugs and Loads of Coat hangers.

Two Cottages have double inter-leading doors providing convenience for families and friends sharing. Emergency Lamps, Lanterns, Candles & Lighter, as well as Electronic Safe.
