Fairhill is situated just 7 km south of Stanford on the coastal road to Gansbaai.
Hermanus (famous for its whale watching) is a mere 10 kilometres north of Stanford (back in the direction of Cape Town).
The drive to Hermanus takes you across the Klein River bridge at Stanford, along the base of the famous Overberg mountains on your right, with the Hermanus Lagoon on your left. Cape Town, via the scenic Sir Lowries Pass, is less than 90 minutes drive from Hermanus.
