At its heart, the sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe haven for displaced and rescued canids, including Timber Wolves, huskies and wolfdogs. Many of these animals arrive from situations where they were abandoned or could no longer be cared for, and the sanctuary gives them space, stability and expert care. Beyond rescue, there is a strong emphasis on education: guided tours introduce visitors to the behaviour, social structures and ecological importance of wolves, helping to dispel myths and foster a deeper understanding of these complex animals.
For visitors, the experience is both engaging and surprisingly interactive. Guided tours, offered at set times, allow guests to step into enclosures with trained staff, where they can get remarkably close to certain wolfdogs and even interact with them under supervision. Self-guided walks provide a more relaxed option, with viewing points overlooking the wolf packs in spacious enclosures.
