Champagne Cottages is a small family owned resort situated alongside the beautiful Bell Park Dam in the magnificent mountainous region of the Central Drakensberg.

The Central Berg is part of the Okhahlamba region and is one of SA's World Heritage Sites. The area has no 'poor weather' season and the Summers, although hot during the day, are invariably cool in the evenings. The Winters are especially nice with sunny days and chilly mornings and evenings - perfect to enjoy a cosy fire!

A tarred road extends to our front gate and provides easy access to the many amenities of the area, which include hotels, restaurants, golf courses as well as a variety of outdoor activities, all within eight to fifteen minutes drive.

The resort, a two hour drive from Durban and a four hour drive from Johannesburg, is perfect for a weekend getaway.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday venue, we offer comfortable value-for-money accommodation.
