The month of July sees the annual Winterton Street Carnival taking place in Winterton. The main street is closed for the day, to play host to a vibrant mix of musicians, local artists, food stalls and craft manufacturers.
The Winterton area is also home to a number of historical sites of interest which include the Marianne Church Ruins, which has been declared a national monument.
