Valdi's Beach Cottage is situated on the beachfront in the Bay of St Helena Bay a popular tourist destination. Particularly in the spring wild flower season.
Only 10 meters from the doorstep to the beach. The Beachfront cottage has beautiful views over the ocean.
Valdi's Beach Cottage is self catering and offers 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, bedroom 2 has a double size bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 double bunks for children. The cottage consists of 2 bathrooms both with showers and one with a bath.
There is an open plan lounge and kitchen. Also a dining area looking out to the sea. There is an indoor braai area for colder evenings and a braai stand outdoors.
Valdi's Beach Cottage offers full Dstv, air-conditioning and an alarm.
Valdi's Beach Cottage is in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. There are a couple of favorite restaurants in the area. A Spar/Tops Bottle Store and OK mini market are available for all requirements. The closest town for a Shopping Mall is a 15 min drive to Vredenburg for all requirements.
We also have the quaint villages of Paternoster, Jacob's bay and Langebaan very close by. All the areas are renowned for kayaking, fishing, whale watching, diving, swimming, bird watching and for the beauty of the flowers in in August/September.
In winter Snoek is caught in our quaint little harbour which then becomes a vibrant Bustling hive of activity with Fresh Snoek being sold straight from the boats.
St Helena Bay is also popular for Whales to come into the bay and calve. From August to September The Southern right whales come into to calve as do the Humpbacks. They can be viewed from the shore.
You can have a perfect relaxing time here shared with friends around a barbeque or just watching the sunset around a fire with a glass of wine.
There are beautiful white beaches to go for long walks. The beach is safe for children of all ages.
