Pagasvlei

Pagasvlei is a small residential area in Cape Town’s southern suburbs, located near Constantia, Diep River and Bergvliet. Set against the eastern slopes of the Table Mountain range, the area enjoys a peaceful suburban character surrounded by some of the Cape Peninsula’s most attractive landscapes. Its convenient location places visitors within easy reach of vineyards, nature reserves, shopping destinations and historic attractions.

The nearby Constantia Valley is one of the highlights of the region, renowned as the oldest wine-producing area in the Southern Hemisphere. Historic estates such as Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia offer visitors the opportunity to experience award-winning wines, Cape Dutch architecture, beautiful gardens and excellent restaurants.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the many trails and natural areas of Table Mountain National Park, while the nearby Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden showcases the incredible diversity of South Africa’s indigenous flora. The Constantia Greenbelt, with its walking paths along streams and wooded areas, is also a popular local escape.

Although Pagasvlei is primarily residential, its position in the heart of the southern suburbs makes it an ideal base for discovering Cape Town’s wine heritage, natural beauty and relaxed countryside atmosphere.
