Dunoon

Dunoon is a vibrant suburb in the City of Cape Town, situated just inland from Milnerton, Table View and the Atlantic coastline. Established in the late 1990s to help meet the city's growing demand for affordable housing, the area has developed into a bustling and diverse community. Its strategic location places visitors within easy reach of Cape Town's western beaches, commercial centres and many of the attractions that make the Blaauwberg region such a popular destination.

Although primarily residential, Dunoon enjoys convenient access to several of the area's leading attractions. The beautiful beaches of Bloubergstrand and Big Bay are only a short drive away, offering spectacular views of Table Mountain, excellent kitesurfing conditions and inviting stretches of sand for walking and relaxation. Nearby Rietvlei Wetland Reserve forms part of the Table Bay Nature Reserve and is a haven for birdwatchers, with numerous indigenous and migratory bird species. Canal Walk Shopping Centre and the Century City precinct are also close by, providing world-class shopping, restaurants, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Dunoon's location makes it a practical base for exploring both Cape Town's Atlantic seaboard and the wider city. With easy access to beaches, wetlands, shopping and major transport routes, the suburb offers visitors a convenient gateway to experience the diversity and energy of Cape Town's northern coastal region.
