The Farmyard proudly produces a fresh variety of home baking and Alfresco foods on the premises - from a variety of gourmet cheeses and breads to delectable pastries. It is also worthwhile investigating their impressive wine cellar and racks filled with home made preserves. Their doors are open from 09:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Sunday and you are invited to experience something out of the ordinary.

The Patio overlooking the Farmyard's beautiful garden and children's playground is ideal for leisurely breakfasts and lunches and their bakery provides fresh scones, muffins and cakes, amongst others, everyday and Saturday breakfast buffets. The menu is contemporary with a touch of classic. Dishes like Smoked Chicken and Mango salad with a Yoghurt dressing, Gorgonzola, Tomato and Basil pesto salad, Oxtail with butternut mash and roasted root vegetables and Kabeljou with a lemon caper sauce are available everyday.

Market Day is popular with locals and visitors and the unusual and colourful displays of crafts and treats makes this a visit to be diarised. The market takes place every 2nd Saturday and the last Saturday of each month.

Directions from Johannesburg
Follow the N1 North from Pretoria. Approximately 5 kilometres from Polokwane (Pietersburg) take the N1 to Tzaneen. Take the R71 intersection off ramp. Continue over the traffic lights until the R81 intersection. At the R81 Intersection traffic lights turn right. Drive for approximately 800 metres, The Farmyard is on your left.
