Malmesbury Museum

The Malmesbury Museum is situated in the beautiful town of Malmesbury in the Western Cape, South Africa. The museum houses an interesting history of this town and also of the Jewish history of this town. The Malmesbury Museum was once the Old Jewish Synagogue which was built in 1911 by Max Goldman. As the years went by and the Jewish community grew, it began to diminish and Mr Goldman's son bought the Synagogue and offered it to the town as a museum. Today there are many interesting facts to be learnt and to see about this town. Don't miss out on the experience next time you are in the area.
