Accommodation
Champagne Berg House has an open plan lounge with stacking doors that open onto a lovely patio so you can enjoy the breathtaking views whilst inside the lounge and kitchen areas. The lounge also has a fully fitted bar with bar fridge and seating for 6 to enjoy board games etc.

The en-suite bedroom has a king size extra length bed fitted with crisp 100% cotton percale linen; and it also has build-in cupboards with a safe. There is also a jacuzzi bath which boasts a truly stunning view.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds, all of which have crisp 100% cotton percale linen and luxury towels. A modern bathroom is adjacent to these 2 bedrooms. For extra accommodation there is a comfortable double sleeper in the lounge.

Out & About
Champagne Berg House makes a perfect base from which to take day trips around the Drakensberg.
On our doorstep we have tennis & golf, hiking, horse riding, Falcon Ridge raptor displays, helicopter rides, Drakensberg Boys Choir, trout fishing, ceramic studio, river-rafting, quad bikes, carting, canopy tours - to name but a few. Further afield is Spionkop & Woodstock Dams, Tufa Power station tours, Sterkfontein dam, the Amphitheatre and Mont-aux-sauce - climb to the top of the Berg.
Famous Berg Hotels and many restaurants are also in close proximity.

Directions
Directions
Travel along the N3 past PMB and through Mooi River. Pass the Wagendrift Dam on your left and keep going until you reach the Estcourt North Giants Castle Central Berg turnoff. Turn left at the glide off, and carry on through Loskop for 28 kms. You will reach a crossroad with a sign saying Central Drakensberg - turn left and follow this road for 11 kms, pass the Cedarberg Shopping Centre on your right & Champagne Sports on your left. Proceed for approximately 2 kms. After crossing the river, turn left at the Inkungu Lodge sign. Follow the road over low level bridge, turn left, pass the Monks Cowl Golf course up to Inkungu Lodge on the right at the top of the hill.

Freeway Route
Johannesburg to Van Reenen's Pass on the N3. Pass through the Tugela Toll Plaza which is at the bottom of Van Reenen's Pass. Continue approximately 14 kms to the R616 Bergville turn off, proceed left on the N11 towards Ladysmith for approximately 4 kms and turn right onto the R600 Spionkop/Winterton Road. Travel along over the highway and past Spionkop Lodge/Nature Reserve. When you reach a T-junction, turn left to Winterton. Take a right over the railway line (R600) when you get into Winterton. This is directly opposite the Engen garage. Follow that road until you reach the crossroads at Thokozisa. Go across the crossroads and travel a further 11kms pass the Cedarberg Shopping Centre on your right & Champagne Sports on your left. Proceed with approximately 2 kms. Turn left after crossing the river, Inkungu Lodge sign there, follow the road over low level bridge, turn left passed the Monks Cowl Golf course up to Inkungu Lodge on the right at the top of the hill
