The Buffelsjachts Dam is a popular attraction in the Western Cape. You can enjoy fishing, waterskiing, canoeing or relaxing and watching the spectacular sunset that the Western Cape boasts. It’s a great family outing. The Bontebok National Park is also another great attraction for the whole family to enjoy. It offers a variety of game drives and hiking trails. On these trails you will get to see zebra, buck and hartebeest to mention only a few. The Drostdy Museum was built in 1747 and is one of South Africas oldest buildings. You will enjoy this visit as you will get to learn so much about the town’s history and witness how the people lived in those days, including how they had to grind the wheat and how they make bread. There is so much to see and do in the area, make this one of your stops when you are on vacation, you won’t be disappointed.

Buffeljagsrivier enjoys a moderate climate as it is situated in the Western Cape. The summer months are warm to hot and dry with cool to cold temperatures in the winter months. Most rainfall is in the winter.
