Sanbona Wildlife Reserve

The Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is situated in the heart of the Little Karoo in the Western Cape. It is about 3 hours away from Cape Town itself which makes it convenient for locals and visitors to enjoy. This breathtaking getaway lies at the foot of the Warmwaterberg mountains and is a holiday destination not to be missed.
The reserve is known to be the only hom eot the free-roaming white lions in the world. The Sanbona Wildlife Reserve runs the successful white lion project to protect and help return the lions back into the wild. Not only will you get to see the white lions you will also see zebra, rhino and elephant.

There are guided tours where you will get to learn about the wildlife, the insects and the flora on this reserve. The San tribe is a large part of the cultural history here and you will also get to learn about them and get to see the San Rock Art.
