Position
Nestled in the front of Janine’s Beach House is a cottage in the most fantastic spot. Right on a Blue Flag Beach – walk through the garden of the beach house to the path onto the beach. The cottage is styled for easy living – when you come back from a hard day at the beach, have a hot shower on your way up the stairs and feel refreshed. Cook your dinner while you watch the sunset with a glass of your choice. Sound good? Read on....

The Cottage
In the front is a huge wooden deck where you braai, play games and generally unwind. Inside is a kitchen with bar fridge, single sink, 2 plate gas burner with kettle, an air fryer, a microwave and a toaster. Pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are all at your disposal. There is a small dining room table with 4 chairs, a lounge with a tv. There is wifi and constant electricity, because of the solar system and batteries. The bedroom has a queen size bed and cupboards, the bathroom with shower (no bath) is separate, and the loft has 2 single beds. The stairs to the loft are fairly steep which is more suitable for children over 4yrs. The cottage is suitable for a couple with 2 children, however, not quite right for 2 couples as the bedroom does not have a bedroom door. The bed is not visible from outside of the room.

Nearby Attractions:

The cottage is on the beach, and is 5 minutes walking distance to the Irma Booysen Nature reserve which surrounds Cape St Francis, for hiking and running.

Within 5km is the Links Golf Course and the St Francis Bay Golf Course

There are mountain bike trails in abundance between Cape St Francis and St Francis Bay – please ask me about them if you are interested.

The beach is famous for the surfing waves, being at Seal Point, Cape St Francis Beach, and Ducks (closer to shark point left of the cottage), as well as the excellent surf in St Francis Bay.

There are excellent restaurants and coffee shops 500m away, as well as close by – 1km away. St Francis Bay also has many restaurants and coffee shops 5km away.

Less than a km away is an indoor pool, gym and coffee shop. 6km away is a set of padel courts, outdoor pool and restaurant, as well as squash courts at the Links.
