Mpumalanga, South Africa
"20kms from Kaapsche Hoop"

Fever Tree cottage is a freestanding, thick-walled stone cottage, situated on
a mountain overlooking a dam on an 88 hectare avocado and pecan nut farm. It is
spacious, light, simple and sophisticated, affording breathtaking views across
the valley.
It is an open-plan design throughout, split on two levels: on the upper level is
a kitchen area equipped with a gas stove, an electric fridge and microwave oven,
a dining table area as well as a main bedroom area with a king bed, electric
blanket and an adjoining bathroom. There is also an outside shower under the
stars, fitted with hot and cold water. The lower living area has a central log
fireplace with couch-beds offering an additional 3 single beds. The cottage
opens out onto a wooden deck overlooking a dam. There is an outside braai area
with wood provided.
Once here, it's quiet, off the beaten track and many visitors choose to just
rest and relax, while others walk, jog or head off to enjoy the sights of
Mpumalanga. The Lepolela River runs through the bottom of the farm. Visitors are
seldom booked back-to-back, so guests are welcome to arrive/leave as early/late
as they like on arrival and departure days.
We do all we can to protect our environment. Over forty years we have planted
hundreds of indigenous trees; we clear alien vegetation and protect our water
sources. **Please note we do not allow quad bikes or motorbikes on our farm.
