Nestled away in the heart of the Overberg surrounded by wheat fields and
fynbos, lies the beautiful 18th century homestead; the perfect breakaway to a
friendly commercial farm environment that offers luxury self catering
accommodation. Enjoy the peace that comes with a glass of wine and good company
either around a cosy fire place or in the shade of a 100 year oak tree. A stroll
along meandering farm roads will lead you past blue cranes, guinea fowl, wild
geese, grazing sheep and cattle. The yellow canola and gracious wheat fields
will put your mind at ease. More adventurous hikers can make their way up the
mountain.
The children will love the peacocks, turkeys, chickens, geese, the horse and the
sheepdogs.
Die Koringhuis caters for up to five people. The facility includes- two
bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and a large kitchen with open hearth. You will be
welcomed with a self-help breakfast basket. The house is tastefully furnished
with decor that reminds one of the years gone by, you can truly make this your
home on the farm.
