Surrounded by rolling vineyards, olive groves and the wild richness of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the distillery draws deeply from its natural surroundings. Founded by Lorna Scott and her family, Inverroche began as a small, homegrown venture and has since grown into one of South Africa’s pioneering craft gin producers, rooted firmly in community and creativity.
What sets Inverroche apart is its distinctive use of indigenous fynbos botanicals - aromatic, rare and entirely unique to the Western Cape. These wild ingredients lend the spirits their signature character, resulting in gins that are floral, herbaceous and unmistakably local. Visitors can explore this alchemy first-hand through guided tastings, where each pour tells a story of landscape and craftsmanship, or take part in the immersive Gin Academy experience, crafting a personalised bottle while learning the art of distillation.
