Haenertsburg Food, Wine and Beer Festival 28/29 April 2018
Where: Haenertsburg, Magoebaskloof. Limpopo
Times: 09:00 - 17:00
This annual event provides a fun experience for the whole family. Starting on Saturday 28 to Sunday 29 April, the quaint village of Haenertsburg hosts this unique festival offering visitors the opportunity to taste and purchase unusual and interesting products. Organic cheese and dairy products, home based preserves, chilli sauces, sweet delicacies and even good old fashioned mampoer will tempt your taste buds. With up to 13 wine estates offering wine tasting, our own craft brewery, Zwakala Brewery offering a new beer experience, artisan gin, liqueurs and other drinks and delicious and unusual food stalls this is one weekend not to be missed! Add to that live music all weekend and a selection of upmarket restaurants and gift shops and you have no excuse anymore. This is, after all, the Premier Foodie Festival in Limpopo!
We are all "foodies" at heart. Give us a new taste, an interesting ingredient or a good glass of wine and we are happy. Combine that with a sunny day out in the country with live music and good friends and we have a festival. Haenertsburg Village with its unique and organic surrounds offer visitors that authentic "out in the country" feeling.
A small entrance fee of R20/adult allows you entry to the festival for both Saturday and Sunday. Get your own branded high quality wineglass with 25 tastings at any of the wine estates for R30 and explore the wine tent.
