Paternoster Heritage Festival
The Paternoster Heritage Festival is an annual event which is held in Paternoster in the Western Cape, South Africa. The event will take place on the 29th September 2012. (Dates are to be confirmed) The festival is well organised and supported by locals and visitors from around the country. Each year the event grows bigger and better with an exciting and inviting atmosphere.
The festival invites the whole family to enjoy the day. There will be something for every one of all ages. The day will be fun filled with festivities ranging from horse riding, kayaking for the children, beach games, water wise information and demonstrations held by various organisations. The celebrations of this heritage site begin at 9am and go on into the late afternoon.
The festival is held in aid of raising funds for underprivileged schools and children. The funds will be helping towards educational trips and excursions to the aquarium, museums and many other opportunities for the children.
There is so much to see and do for the whole family. There will be great prizes to be won throughout the day, delicious foods, arts and crafts and a variety of demonstrations to enjoy.
