Marievale Bird Sanctuary
The Marievale Bird Sanctuary is one of several important bird areas in South Africa. It is situated in the Vaal Triangle in the Gauteng province of South Africa. This sanctuary, a wetland, attracts up to 65 different water bird species. In total, over 3500 birds are spotted here, from a variety of ducks to spoonbills you will be amazed.
It is a lovely day out for the whole family, not only for bird enthusiasts. Come spend some time having a relaxing picnic with the family and enjoying the beauty of nature and its beautiful and colourful bird species.
