Le Grange Bird Park

Le Grange Bird Park

In 1975 what started out as a hobby for Jannie Le Grange and his wife Lettie became a bird park open to the public. Now not just a visitors park, the Le Grange Bird Park also breeds, trades and displays a wide range of both local and imported birds and fish. Their collection of birds include Macaws, Cockatoos, Blue Cranes, Peacocks, Black Swans, Mahems, Ducks, Geese, Ostriches, Hornbills and Pheasants to name just a few. Set in the midst of the park is the Blue Crane tea garden where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea and something to eat while the children burn off their energy in the adjacent playground, equipped with jungle gyms and swings. And all of this while surrounded by Peacocks and other birds.
