Wind up the narrow dirt road to the top of the hill and you will have come to a very special place - Millford Farm.

The original house has virtually been rebuilt resulting in a beautiful red brick & thatch home situated at the end of a sweeping pebble drive that seems to welcome all who stop there.

Millford Farm has magnificent suites available for B&B guests each with a private entrance. They have been beautifully decorated by Kate in a most elegant and tasteful manner. In the Victorian style bathroom you will find a slipper bath with hand made soap and body lotion that Kate has specially selected for your pleasure.

You will also be able to luxuriate in the fluffy white dressing gowns and slippers which you will find tucked in the antique cupboard, enjoy a welcoming glass of sherry, watch satellite TV and in winter be warmed by the under-floor heating and cosy warming blankets.

Kate serves a delicious country breakfast which is served at the dining room table in your suite at whatever time you request.

Because Millford Farm is situated on top of a hill probably one of the most memorable aspects is the breathtaking view that can be seen from every window. Imagine opening the curtains on a winter morning and looking out on the idyllic sight of black Friesian horses emerging from the mist.

For the energetic guest the indigenous forest will provide hours of fun and adventure and birdwatchers will also find the area most rewarding. Another option is to take your book to the waterfall nearby and spend a quiet time reading or even have a swim in the icy water under the fall.

Horse riding is offered and golf can be arranged nearby.
