Welcome to the Sea Haven.
SEAHAVEN is a private house situated on a quiet country road high on the dunes
overlooking
Umdloti Beach. The beach is a four minute drive away. The location
is on the beautiful stretch of Indian Ocean coastline 30km north of Durban and
7km north of
Umhlanga Rocks, South Africa's premier holiday destination.
The house is divided into two apartments. We, the Connors (Pam & Greg & Teddy
the dog) occupy the upper apartment and SEAHAVEN is the spacious lower
apartment, which has direct access to the pool and thatched gazebo. The pool
area is solely for the use of SEAHAVEN holiday makers.
The apartment is beautifully appointed and the fittings & furnishings of a very
high standard.
It is a place of peace (no traffic noise) and thus is NOT a party destination
(no loud music please). Just the sound of the surf and the call of the birds.
Driving along Bellamont Road you are likely to see monkeys, banded mongoose, guinea fowl and a wide variety of birdlife including the purple crested lourie and, if you're lucky the reclusive small antelope (duiker).
Being some 50 meters above sea level greatly reduces the affect of humidity in summer, and cooling sea breezes ensure a comfortable temperature.
It is an ideal destination for both business people and holidaymakers.

Umdloti Beach is unspoiled and safe for swimming and surfing with lifeguards in attendance. Fishing, diving, snorkelling and canoeing are also very popular. The beach is a twenty minute stroll, or four minute drive for the less energetic.

We (the Connors) are the owners of the famous
Umdloti Bush Tavern & Grill - located above the petrol station at the circle. Full a la carte, pub and take away menus also daily specials. Happy hours daily, live music, DStv sport and big screen for major events. Great atmosphere, good vibe!
