This recently built and furnished 3 bedroom apartment is as close to the
beach as you can wish for.
It is situated in Winklespruit (20 Minutes drive from Durban CBD and 5 Minutes
from Amamzimtoti), on the South Coast of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
3 factors distinguish the apartment:
- There is a beautiful strip of lush green natural vegetation between the
complex and the beach, where you'll see and hear indigenous bird species,
especially early in the mornings. This vegetation is part of the high tide
area, where no buildings may be built and it also protects the dunes in the
area. The unobstructed view from the apartment overlooks this beautiful area
followed by the ocean not more than 90 meters from the balcony. .
- The complex only has 3 levels and the entire roof of the apartment
comprises of a tiled patio area, which will be furnished in future with
sleeper wood tables and benches. Only the 3rd floor apartments have these
additional patio's, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets with champagne
in hand whilst having a traditional South African Braai.
- This complex is one of a select few complexes on the South Coast that
are situated between the beach and the train track. As a result no noise or
ugly train tracs will spoil your holiday experience.
The apartment has a spacious open plan sitting / dining room and kitchen.
The main bedroom sleeps 2 and has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
The 2nd room sleeps 2 on 2 separate three quarter beds.
The 3rd room sleeps 2 on a double bed.
The lounge can sleep 2 on a double sleeper couch, which is advised to be used
for children only
Both bathrooms have a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
A secured patio overlooks the ocean, has a kettle braai and a table, which seats
8 people.
All doors have security gates.
The Winklespruit beach offers protected and life guarded swimming, popular shore
fishing areas as well as a large beach swimming pool (to the left of the
complex). The complex itself also offers a swimming pool.
