Lindimo Lodge is a fully walled and secure modern home situated a mere 70m
from the beach with no main roads to cross. Electric gates and an alarm system
linked to armed response ensure your complete safety. Pets are more than
welcome.
Lindimo Lodge has a warm and comfortable, homely ambience and is an ideal family
holiday home away from home. The large garden has a comfortable braai area and
there are breaker views from the covered verandah where whale- and
dolphin-watching are a delight. There is an outside shower to rinse off after a
fun-filled day in the sea and sand.
The 8-sleeper house is fully tiled with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main
bedroom has a king-sized bed with bathroom en-suite, the 2nd bedroom has a
queen-sized bed, and the 3rd & 4th bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The
separate 4th bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have built-in
cupboards and there is a lock up safe in the main bedroom. There are ceiling
fans in all bedrooms and the lounge area.
There is a lounge and dining room area and full DSTV is provided. The kitchen is
fully equipped and has a microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The top of
the range fridge has a constant supply of filtered iced water and ice.
The short walk to the beach will bring you to Shirley’s Rocks which is one of
many close-by popular fishing spots. There are an abundance of rock pools for
snorkeling and spear-fishing. Southbroom main beach is a comfortable 10 min walk
away and the main Ramsgate beach is about a 40 min walk along the beach. Fishing
boats may be launched from the nearby Ski-Boat Beach. Dive charters are
available from Shelly Beach.
There are several excellent restaurants in the Ramsgate, Southbroom and Margate
areas with 3 restaurants 1 block away on Marine Drive. Sporting enthusiasts have
golfing, bowls and tennis facilities close by and nature lovers can explore the
Mpenjati Reserve and the Oribi Gorge. The Wild Coast Sun is approximately 35kms
south of Ramsgate.
The main Durban airport is approx 120kms away and the Margate Airport is approx
4kms away.
