Please note that the resort is still under construction. At present we have the following to offer:
- 4x one bedroom units sleeping two.
- 1x four bedroom unit sleeping ten.
The owners of Bay View Lodge have gone to great lengths to ensure that the resort is as comfortable as possible. Lovely ground covers and grasses have been planted to help stabilize the sand dunes thereby reducing the amount of sea sand that blows around.
All roads in the resort as well as the gravel road leading to the resort have been hard packed with coral sand making it possible for you to reach your destination without a 4x4. Please note that you will need to check with the resort with regards to tides as at spring tides the road is partially flooded and you would need to time your arrival accordingly.
One Bedroom Units (2, 3, 4, 5)
- All bedrooms have on suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.
- There is a double bed with mosquito netting. Linen and bath towels are provided and laundered weekly. Please bring your own beach towels.
- All units have a sea view from the bedroom.
- The kitchen, lounge and dinning area are all open plan. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove/oven, micro wave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans.
- There is a sea view from the lounge and patio. Each unit has private Braai/BBQ facilities.
- Units 1 & 2, 3 & 4 share an outside shower to rinse off the salt and sand. Unit 5 has its own outside shower.
- All units have a car port.
2 x Two bedroom units. (6 & 7)
Sleeps 5 people. (one double bed, one single bed & one bunk bed)
- Both units have two bedrooms with bathrooms on suite. Both bedrooms are
air-conditioned.
- There is a fully self-contained kitchen with Fridge, micro-wave oven,
gas stove, toaster, kettle, all cutlary and crockery.
- Linen and bath towels are provided.
- The units have their own patio and braai as well as out side shower.
- Unit 06 has sea-views from the main bedroom as well as the
lounge/kitchen.
- Unit 07 has no sea-views.
Four Bedroom Unit (6)
- The two front downstairs bedrooms have on suit bathrooms with shower, toilet and basin. There is a double bed in each room with mosquito netting. Both bedrooms have sea views.
- Third downstairs bedroom has two bunk beds sleeping four, with mosquito netting. There is a separate bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.
- The fourth bedroom is upstairs. There are two single beds in this room with mosquito netting. This room has a fantastic sea view. There is also an upstairs toilet and basin as well as a large entertainment area with patio.
- Kitchen, Lounge and Dinning room are open plan. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge, chest freezer, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans.
- The downstairs patio has a braai/BBQ and a sea view.
- As with the one bedroom unit linen and bath towels are provided and laundered weekly. Please bring your own beach towels.
- There is an outside shower.
- A car port is adjacent to the unit.
Facilities
- On site facilities are still under construction.
- TV: There are no TV's in the units.
- There are a number of restaurants with in a very short distance of the resort, one with in walking distance.
- There is a swimming beach in front of the resort.
- Bayview Adventures & Services operates from White Sands and offers, wake snake, water skiing, water trampoline, trips to Pansy Island to collect shells and other water related sports for the kids and parents.
- Diving expeditions can be arrange by us with a well know dive charter.
- Fishing safaris can also be arranged if you do not have your own boat.
