Learning to Skydive is the most exhilarating and confidence building experience. After just a Morning of briefing and you are then free to Jump by yourself!

Our Skydive Courses teach you the thrills of Skydiving in a safe and progressive way. Basically you start with the parachute attached to the plane so it opens as soon as you jump. Then you build up to opening it yourself after longer and longer delays! So you Jump and count ONE THOUSAND, TWO THOUSAND, THREE THOUSAND etc before you pull your ripcord. This training method is equally suitable for the first time jumper who wants to experience a once off thrill, or students who wants to get their Skydive License so they can jump anywhere in the world! Your first parachute jump is from an altitude of 3500ft, it is the biggest thrill of your life! What was that? You want to do it again! Now? No problem. This is where your training towards the free fall program starts. After 8 static line jumps, you progress towards your longer delays during the next 18 jumps where you are taught the art of controlling your body in the sky during free fall.

A Tandem Skydive at Skydive Mossel Bay is an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime! Not only will you enjoy all of the thrill and excitement of freefalling on your very first jump, but you’ll also be taking an exhilarating scenic flight over the Outeniqua mountains and Mossel Bays beautiful  beaches! You can even land on the beach if conditions are right!
 
Thanks to the nature of the tandem skydive the formal training required can be kept to a minimum your instructor takes care of everything, all you need to do is enjoy it! He will brief you on what to expect in the airplane, how to hold your body during free-fall and what to expect when the parachute opens your fears can be eased and your fun maximized.

When the door finally opens and you exit the aircraft most of our students say their fears stay in the plane and the feeling they are left with they describe only as indescribable!!!

The Tandem Master will be your silent partner, letting you have full control; or you can just lay back and enjoy the ride. Since we're weightless in free fall, you won't even notice that the Tandem Master is there.
 
Jumping from 10 000 feet, we'll free fall at 220 kph for up to 40 seconds. While we "Body Surf" the wind, we can do controlled turns, speed diving, and burn up the sky.

All too quickly you will find the parachute opening and your adrenaline charged free-fall transitions into a quite peaceful parachute decent, where you and your instructor can talk and share the moment. During the 5-7 minutes it takes to reach the ground your instructor can provide either a sedate gentle ride to the ground or a more radical roller coaster experience demonstrating spins and stalls as he skilfully takes you to our landing area.
