The unit sleeps 6 (max 4 adults) and is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave as well as cutlery and crockery. One parking bay per unit is provided.
There's a TV in the unit for the evenings that you decide not to drive down to the Fun Fair, cinemas or perhaps out for a bite (there is a quiet Italian eatery on your doorstep). Pillows, blankets and all bed sheets, pillow cases are provided, just bring your own bathing/beach towels.

Margate is an ideal holiday for mom, dad and the kids with safe beaches that have all year lifeguard protection, shark nets, excellent fishing grounds and town a stone's throw away. Surf Edge can also be seen as a break away from the crowded main beach in peak season, with your own beach just a few steps away.

Golf
The lower South Coast offers some of the most amazing golf courses to be found in SA. Margate is within 60 minutes of 9 golf courses, two of them rated amongst SA's top 12. No wonder this is called the golf coast of South Africa.
Beaches
Surf Edge is right on it's own stretch of beach, with a private path to the beach.
The long golden beach of Margate is where it all happens, and is a 2 minute drive, there's an amusement park and Margate's main swimming beach. During the holiday season there are a host of festivities taking place for the young and old.
Margate Beach also offers excellent swimming and surfing and has the sought after Blue Flag status.
Water temperatures rarely drop below 20°C, so you can swim all year round, even in mid-winter.
Fishing
Margate offers various excellent rock and surf angling spots. If you are looking to go deep-sea fishing, scuba diving or just for boat pleasure trips, go along to
Shelly Beach as boat launches are done from here.
Sardine Run
When the Sardine run starts in June, the South Coast is where you want to be. It is an unforgettable experience to witness the activity that takes place with the sharks, dolphins and various game fish that follow. Perhaps the most exciting part of the sardine run is dolphin spotting, as thousands of common and bottlenose dolphins follow the shoals.
Let's not forget the whales, those gentle giants of the ocean, which frequent the waters this time of the year.
