relax with the sea breeze on your face
breathe pure air far away from city-life
Then you want..... Cape St. Francis!
Walk on an outstretched beach, sunbathe on the golden sand or surf the magnificent waves. The historical lighthouse will watch over you while you fish from the beautiful rocks. This is but part of what you can enjoy when you visit Cape St. Francis.
Wood-and-Waves is a cozy log-cabin which allows you to watch the waves crush themselves on the rocks from all its rooms.
The cabin can accommodate for your every need with three bedrooms that can sleep 6 people, two bathrooms, a kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge and freezer and everything else that you might need to prepare a lovely meal. You may want to braai? There is a barbecue area. Should you want to keep in touch with the world, make use of the TV or radio.
Do not forget your hiking boots, tennis racket or golf clubs. Facilities are available in town or very nearby. Scuba diving is a great attraction of this second most southern point of Africa. The Kromme River mouths into the ocean about 5 kilometres from Cape St. Francis where water skiing, motor boating and wind surfing can be enjoyed. One often has the opportunity to watch the whales playing at Cape St. Francis from late winter to spring.
The well known Garden Route starts a few kilometres from Cape St. Frances and the friendly city of Port Elizabeth is about one hour's drive to the east.
Come, enjoy, relax and remember a lovely time.
