Broederstroom is a beautiful, small suburb at the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountains in the North West Province of South Africa. Broederstroom is the perfect holiday destination for the whole family with many activities to keep everyone happy.

Broederstroom is the perfect destination for the whole family to enjoy your holiday. Broederstroom has an endless list of activities for everyone and is near to the Hartebeespoort Dam which is one of the most popular getaways amongst visitors and locals. Here they have everything from watersports such as waterskiing, windsurfing, para-sailing, fishing to just relaxing on the ferry ride across the dam. There is also a cable car that takes you to the top of the Magaliesberg mountain where you can hang-glide down, there is even hot air ballooning available where you will thoroughly enjoy the spectacular views of the dam and mountain ranges from above. Broederstroom also has many golf courses nearby if you are wanting to keep your swing in shape while on holiday. Not far from Broederstroom is the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre and Wildlife Trust which was established in 1971 to protect the cheetah in South Africa. You will also get to see vultures, many different types of buck, hyena and wild dogs on the guided tour provided.

Climate:
Broederstroom is in the North West Province which enjoys sunny days almost all year round with warm to hot summer days and afternoon thundershowers. The winter months are also sunny but dry and temperatures drop considerably in the evenings.
