Longridge Winery
Established in 1994 on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain and taken over by a Dutch family in 2006, Longridge is a 49 hectare farm with over 23 hectares of vineyards. The modern cellar is situated in the heart of the wine producing area in the Western Cape, the Stellenbosch region, and has a capacity of over 250,000 bottles. The almost perfect climate and geographical setting is ideal for growing a variety of grapes which have led to the creation of an outstanding range of wines. Every year the Longridge wines, which according to age-old tradition are only aged in oak barrels, change and provide a different taste experience.
Longridge is also home to Johans at Longridge. With its kitchen surrounded by fertile soil where vegetables, vines, fruits and herbs thrive. Where daylight shines in from all sides and where the chefs are free to express their creativity, using the best the seasons have to offer. Johans at Longridge is definitely the place to experience the tastes of home grown food in a beautiful setting.
The Restaurant and Wine Bar is open for Lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and Dinner from 18:30 on Monday, Friday and Saturday, and for lunch only on Tuesdays and Sundays. Johans at Longridge is closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
