Nwanedi Game Reserve

Home of the spectacular Tshihovhohovho Falls, the Nwanedi Game Reserve is a 9300 hectare reserve on the foothills of the Venda mountains. It combines scenic landscapes including umbrella thorn savannah, mopani patches and dense bushveld towards the mountains with a rich diversity of animals to ensure a memorable visit. The reserve along with its usual plain game such as Antelopes and giraffe, also boasts a resident population of White Rhino and the occasional leopard may also be spotted. Apart from game viewing the reserve also offers hiking, 4x4 trails, birding and mountain biking, as well as fishing and canoeing on the Luphephe and Nwanedi Dams. Entrance into the reserve is paid at the entrance gate.

Directions from Thipise
Take the R525 from Thipise towards the Pafuri Gate; after approx. 25 km turn right towards the Nwanedi Nature Reserve.
