The road to Greyton is lined with rolling wheat fields rippling in the breeze as you head to the village of romance. October and November see Greyton bloom in the middle of spring and it is well worth putting on your travel plans. Rose exhibits and open gardens for the rose lovers and even those just looking for new ideas on how to improve there own gardens. Venues are spread throughout the village and the streets buzz with the festive village atmosphere. But its not just about these beautiful flowers, there is also an arts and crafts market, art exhibitions, concerts, the Miss Rose beauty contest, sports activities and activities for children. The baked treats and food stalls in the market are always a hit, but heres a hint, get there early because as history proves, they are sure to sell out quickly.

Directions from Cape Town:
Leave Cape Town on the N2 towards Caledon.
Just before arriving in Caledon you will see a turn off for the R406.
Turn right at the R406.
Keep travelling on the R406 and this will bring you straight into the town of Greyton.
