Fees van die Ganse
Fees van die Ganse is held in Gansbaai in the Cape Overberg area, South Africa. It is an annual event and this year it will be held between the 8th and 10th July 2011 (dates to be confirmed). Fees van die Ganse translated into English means, Festival of the Geese. The festival celebrates and remembers the origins of the town Gansbaai. It is a well attended festival with over 10 000 visitors, local and national, recorded. One of the main attractions is the winter fynbos wildflower show. The festival is non stop action and excitement and entertainment for all ages. There is live music, a procession through the streets of Gansbaai, boat trips, 4x4 adventures, local soccer games and food stalls galore, to mention only a few.

Directions from Cape Town:
Take the N2 over Sir Lowrys Pass.
Continue over Houwhoek Pass, as you descend there is a turnoff R43 to Hermanus.
Take the R43 and travel straight through Hermanus.
Pass through Stanford, and keep on straight. This road will take you into Gansbaai.
