Karoo National Botanical Gardens

Karoo National Botanical Gardens
The gardens were established in 1921 but was moved in 1945 to its current residence in Worcester. The Karoo National Botanical Gardens has the largest collection of indigenous succulents in South Africa which makes it very popular amongst visitors and locals. During Spring the flowers are in full bloom and the succulents cover a large area with rainbows of colour. These plants are available for sale to the public. There are also a large variety of rare and endangered plants here. It's a very interesting outing for the whole family. As you walk along the trail through the beautiful gardens you will also get to enjoy the spectacular Breede River Valley views.
The gardens are open daily between 8am and 5pm.
