St Lucia Holiday Cottage is your best choice accommodation for visiting St Lucia. Our property borders the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, offering premium views of both sea and lake. Our private holiday home is pure paradise. It is uniquely located on a spacious property (this is the only “unit” on half an acre) including large quiet garden. Birding opportunities are abundant. Small duiker & mongoose are regularly are sighted during daylight hours. Occasionally hippos are spotted travelling through the garden at night.

There are a variety of reasons to visit St Lucia. Greater St Lucia Wetland Park is South Africa’s first UNESCO World Heritage Listing aand has been a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance since 1986. Abundant birdlife, beaches, lake systems, Estuary boat rides, and coastal forests. The village in situated inside the Nature Reserve, so you will be able to have sightings from the Boardwalk of hippos, crocodiles and birds.

    Why is your establishment interesting?
    Detail description : STUNNING OCEAN VIEW - St Lucia Holiday Cottage is one of the few houses positioned overlooking the Estuary and the Ocean. WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY - The house is easily accessible for those bound to wheelchairs. There are no stairs in the house at all; the toilet, shower and bath have handrails for assistance. LARGE GARDEN - The property is private with a lovely large garden. HIPPOS VISITORS - A special treat to experience is when the hippos come in the evening to graze the grass - Please Note - DO NOT go outside when the hippos are in the garden, rather enjoy watching them through the safety of the windows! HOUSEKEEPER - The Housekeeper lives on the property and is available to wash dishes in the morning and late afternoon. She makes the beds and cleans the house. JOJO WATER TANKS - There are water tanks to ensure constant supply of water.
