Space of Grace invite you to join in with the spectacular natural phenomenon that takes place on our doorstep each year. 

The dolphins, whales, shoals of sardines and gannets are visible from our viewing deck.  Book for a minimum of 2 nights and SAVE R250.00 per night!

Terms of payment. 50% of the total charge to be paid up front to secure the booking, the balance plus a refundable breakage deposit equivalent to a daily rate of your stay MUST be paid 7 days PRIOR to arrival. Access to the property will only be permitted once the total amount owing has been paid in full.

The repayment of the full or part of the deposit will occur within 14 days after taking the above into account. Please provide the owner with your correct banking details.

Terms of Payment. 50% confirms the booking. The other 50% to be paid 7 days prior to arrival, along with the refundable breakage deposit. If the full amount is not received within the time frames stipulated herein, the booking shall be deemed as cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

Arrival & Departure Times
Arrival: 14h00
Departure: 10h30

Arrival and departure times are 14h00 and 10h30 respectively. Any changes to these times must be confirmed by the owner in writing or a surcharge will be levied for every hour or part thereof, that late departure has occurred.
Rules/Conditions
Space of Grace can accommodate a maximum of 10 persons. If the number is expected to exceed the maximum permitted, you MUST receive the approval in writing from the owner. The owner reserves the right to charge a proportionate fee for any additional guests. Failure to obtain the required permission for extra guests would be deemed as a breach of agreement and will be grounds for cancellation of this lease and the eviction of all tenants with no refund.

Any social gathering planned that exceeds 10 persons must have the approval in writing from the Owner. No Bachelors parties, 21st parties or similar will be accepted.

Noise and disturbing the peace - Please be considerate towards our neighbours. No Fireworks are permitted. Loud music and unruly behaviour that disturbs neighbours will be ground for cancellation of this lease and eviction of tenant with no refund. All music must be turned down by 10pm.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Smoking in the garden is permitted but please don’t through cigarette butts into the garden. There are ashtrays available.

Pets are allowed at the discretion and by prior arrangement with the owner. Please note that a double Break Deposit may be required. There is a caretaker with a child living on the property and a daily gardener: VISCIOUS ANIMALS ARE NOT PERMITTED. If your animal causes any harm to any person working at the premises or entering for due reason, you will be held liable.
Please clean up after your pets and DO NOT allow them onto beds or furniture. You will be held responsible for any soiling or damage to property caused by your pets and a charge for cleaning or repair will be deducted from the Breakage Deposit.?

Domestic help - The house is serviced daily. This includes a general clean of the kitchen, bathrooms and communal areas. Outdoor areas will be cleaned on weekdays only. Should you require more help let us know in advance and we will arrange it at an extra charge of R150 day /R250 on public holidays.

Exclusion from Rental. Where the accommodation is taken up the retention (breakage deposit) shall be used for the replacement of damaged or missing items from the house, repair, cleaning or replacement of damage to furniture or fittings, special hire charged if required, unpaid rental and any abnormal cleaning charges.

The property is accepted as including all furniture, fittings and accessories “voetstoots” and in the condition in which they are found and shall be left in the same order and good condition, fair wear and tear expected. The Owner takes no responsibility for the breakdown or malfunction of appliances during your stay; however, we shall make every effort to repair faulty appliances that are reported to us timeously.?

Hand soap, hand towels and toilet paper will be provided by the owner on arrival by the owner. These will be replenished within reason during your stay.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BATH AND BEACH TOWELS.

Linen and bedding is provided and will be changed on a weekly basis during an extended stay.

An alarm remote and keys will be provided to you. If the keys or alarm remote is misplaced there will be a R500 deduction from your deposit. All keys are the responsibility of the main guest.

Breakages of crockery. The cost of replacement will be deducted from your deposit. Any furniture, windows/doors or any other asset that is damaged by the guest the cost of which will be deducted from the deposit. Any shortfall the guest undertakes to make good the shortfall over and above the paid in deposit.

The property is secured by perimeter fence/wall with an electric gate. There is a double garage with internal access to the house. Up to 4 additional vehicles can be safely parked off the road on the property.

The alarm remote is linked to an armed response company. This has a panic button There are external beams which when activated will provide adequate security. All doors have trellidoors and windows are fully burglar proofed. We suggest keeping all doors secured at night. Any items misplaced/stolen is for the account of the guest and the owner takes no responsibility.

If there is any form of illegal activity or malicious damage to property, a complaint will be made at the local SAP Charge Office by the owner and a CRIMINAL CASE opened for investigation.

Entry and residing at Space of Grace is done entirely at the guests risk. The owners will not accept responsibility for any action/accident that may take place on the property that results in damage to THE GUESTS’ PERSON OR BELONGINGS. The tenant further exempts the Landlord from any loss or damage be it personal or to belongings in the case of fire, criminal activity or weather.

Please note that the swimming pool and fishponds do not have safety nets. The owner will not be held liable for any incident occurring as a result. Children must be supervised at all times.
