|SELF-CATERING RATES 2019
R 550.00 per person per night non-peak season
R 600.00 per person per night peak season (school/public holidays)
|Kids under 12 stay free.|
|Game drive or game walk with manager at R 100.00 per person|
R 600.00 refundable breakage deposit is payable in cash at arrival

|Terms Of Payment|
|* 50% deposit at booking time to secure reservation|
* Settlement of outstading balance no later than 30 days before arrival
* Payment can be made by bank EFT, bank deposit, or Visa and Mastercard transaction
* Bank deposit payments are not secured until the amount is cleared into our bank account
* Additional costs incurred during your stay are payable before departure.
* All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at 14%.
|Cancellations/Amendments must be made in writing to Shakati by e-mail.|
Should a confirmed reservation be cancelled, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- If cancelled less than 30 days before arrival forfeit deposit.
- If cancelled 15 days or less before arrival, liable for full cost.
|Arrival & Departure Times|
|Check-in time: 14:00 -17:00 on arrival day|
Check-out time 10:00 on departure day
Contact Shakati booking office the day before arrival to inform of arrival time. The manager must meet you at the reserve main gate to let you into the reserve.
|*Request transfer/tour needs at booking time as well and we will refer you to a tour company. We do not do transfers ourselves.|
*Shakati reserves the right to amend all tariffs at any time. Confirmed bookings shall be honoured at original rates.
*Shakati reserves the right to terminate the accommodation arrangements of a guest who behaves in such a manner that is deemed to be unacceptable, or is detrimental to the enjoyment of other guests or the reputation of Shakati.
*Shakati reserves the right to claim back from the guest any costs or charges incurred due to damage to the property whether accidentally caused or not.
*It is a condition that all guests have adequate insurance and medical cover.
*Complaints by guests - In spite of Shakati's best efforts, very occasionally a problem may arise. If you are unhappy about any aspect of Shakati's arrangements, please address your complaint immediately to the Manager, who will make every effort to resolve any problems there and then.
