Salties is positioned on a property that is on the beach with direct access to the main protected swimming area. This 2 bedroomed garden apartment has partial sea views. The unit is situated on the same property as our personal family home which we have owned since 1962. It is situated at the rear of the property and is elevated with partial sea views from the front deck over the roof of the main house which is a single storey cottage.

Salties provides luxury self- catering accommodation for 4 people. All the necessary amenities are within walking distance : shops, restaurants, the salt Rock hotel and Sports club. A main supermarket, shops and restaurants are situated at Tiffany's centre are just 5 minutes drive away

It is 20 minutes drive from Umhlanga , 15 minutes from UShaka International airport and 10 minutes away from the newly developed shopping malls of Ballito

The main swimming beach which is a short walk from the property, is protected by shark nets and offers life saving facilities and monitoring daily.

There is a large tidal pool and a lovely little rock pool for toddlers.

The rocks are ideal for fishing. For those licenced sea food lovers, crayfish, oysters and mussels are all on your doorstep.

The Durban weather is renowned for its lovely sun, warm winters and hot summers, a climate ideal for all year round swimming.

The unit is is fully furnished with all the necessary kitchen appliances, crockery and cutlery. The open plan living area consists of a lounge and dining area . There is a sliding door opening onto a deck . There is a television with full DSTV bouquet , a music centre and capped WIFI
