What we have to offer
River Valley Resort is a hidden gem on the KZN South Coast.  A family orientated resort offering self-catering chalets and camping sites.  We have a fence and an automatic gate securing the resort.  There is a swimming pool, a children’s playground and a games room.  The beach is approximately a ten minute walk from the park, however due to the river cutting off access to the beach, we recommend you rather drive to the skiboat club which is approximately 2 km’s away, or go to other beaches close by.  More information on outside activities is available from reception.   Please note our cancellation policy on our quotation.  Visitors are to report to reception before commencing into the Resort.  Day visitors are to do the same and pay R80.00 per person and R15.00 per car, exit by latest 20h00.  “Should your visitor / visitors want to stay over night, the daily rate at the time applies”

CHALETS: (We have 5 self catering four sleeper units to choose from)
The chalets are fully equipped, fully furnished and have open view TV, private patio and private braai area. Linen is provided, but NO bath towels, dish cloths nor washup sponges are included.  A refundable key / remote / breakage deposit of R250.00 is required when booking. PETS (small dogs only) are allowed in the chalets, contact reception about the terms and conditions regarding pets and fee’s.  Only 1 car per chalet is allowed unless previously arranged with management.  Extra cars are chargeable at R15.00 per car per night.  Daily house cleaning can be provided by request and is chargeable at R120.00 per day, personal laundry is not included.   “Please contact reception for more information regarding this service”   There is a laundrette down at the ablutions for personal laundry.  Tokens are available at reception during office hours only.

KING FISHER:  This room accommodates a maximum of 2 people and does not have ablution facilities, residents must use the ablutions 50 meters away.  The room has two beds, linen, fridge, microwave oven, cutlery & crockery, a sink with cold running water and a colour T.V with openview.  No bath towels nor dish cloths are included.

CARAVAN / CAMP SITES:  (20 sites all with electrical points and water points close by) Maximum of six (6) people are allowed per site.  One caravan with its main tent, or two large tents allowed per site.  Gazebo’s are considered to be a tent.  CAR & TRAILER ARE TO BE PARKED ON YOUR SITE.  Any cars or trailers needed to be parked off the site will be charged at R15.00 per day per vehicle or trailer.  ONLY OPEN WEAVE PROPERLY POROUS GROUND SHEETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GRASS SECTION.  DOGS ALLOWED (Small dogs only) are chargeable at R30.00 per dog per day. CHALETS RATES:

30% deposit to be paid on booking, 50% paid 30 days prior to arrival.  The remaining 20% to be paid at least two days prior to arrival via EFT transaction,
or cash on arrival.   “NO CARD FACILITIES AVAILABLE”
Long term stay is R5700.00 p/m, minimum 2 months,  excl electricity. T’s&C’S apply

KING FISHER RATES:
King Fisher is a room only for two people.  No bathroom, residents must use the ablutions

Long term is R3700.00 per month, min 2 months.  Ask reception for more details. T’s & C’s apply

CARAVAN / CAMP SITES RATES:
   Minimum charge for two people high season is R800.00 per day

*  LONG TERM CAMP SITE SPECIAL: R3300.00 per month (2 people only, minimum 2 months,maximum 6 months, excluding December), Excluding electricity.

*  TENT SET UP IS AVAILABLE MON – FRI 10H00 TO 15H00, WEEKENDS 10H00 TO
13H00. R50.00 Max 1 hour assistance per camp site.  Please pre-book this service if required!
