Table View

The suburb of Table View, just 20 minutes north of Cape Town has picture postcard views over Table Mountain and Robben Island and some of the best sunsets in the world.

Set on the Atlantic coastline, Table View has three main beaches - Bloubergstrand's Big Bay, Little Bay and Dolphin beach. Little Bay is perfect for sunbathers and family outings whilst Big Bay is more popular with surfers and windsurfers, although swimming is safe opposite the lifesaver's club. Table View offers Keen golfers access to the Milnerton links course or the Atlantic Beach championship course, both of which boast stunning views.

Close to Table View are the Rietvlei wetlands, which include a bird hide for keen bird watchers and one also has quick access to Canal Walk with its myriad offering of shops, boutiques and movie houses. Table View is perfectly situated to explore the wine farms of Durbanville, the Koeberg Nature Reserve or the West Coast of the Cape with its scenic drives and wild flowers, when in season.
