A perfect location for a FAMILY holiday. Step off the lawn onto the sand, fantastic unhindered sea views where you can watch whales and dolphins, rock pool, fish from the rocks all at the edge of the lawn. Beautiful Southbroom bathing beach with life guards in attendance is only a 5 minute walk away to the south for those who are keen surfers and more adventurous swimmers. The cottage has 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms (mes) with a swimming pool tucked in a courtyard at the back of the cottage. This means it is protected from the wind so on when weather is not so favourable for the beach there's still great fun to be had around the pool, and nothing better than a good dip rinsing off in the pool after a long morning spent on the beach swimming in the surf.
Fully alarmed, with security response. Great friendly live in staff. And the South Coast has so many fun adventures and exiting places on offer one can visit when you've had enough of the sun, sea and sand! Excellent restaurants as well as two great shopping malls and cinemas at Shelley Beach - South Coast Mall and the Shelley Centre.
This is definitely NOT suitable for singles but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for families.

Even though we were not allowed onto the beach (lockdown), we had the best time. The pool is cleverly tucked away out of the wind and is a perfect spot for kids and adults. We loved lying on the lawn and the sound of the ocean is mesmerizing. Super relaxing! The Ramsgate staff are excellent. The cottage is comfortable and clean and spacious enough for everyone to find a space to chill.

What a lovely spot. So close to the sea you could sit on the verandah all day and be happy. Ideal for families with a protected swimming pool at the back and a rock pool in the front which is ideal for little kids. Close to large shopping centres and many restaurants close by.

The location of this beach cottage is just amazing. To sit on the verandah and enjoy sundowners while watching the kids play on the sprawling lawn which leads onto the sunny rock pools is absolute bliss. We enjoyed many happy hours looking for crabs and wallowing in the rock pools. The Southbroom main beach is just a short walk from the cottage.
The cottage is simple, yet homely, neat and clean. We enjoyed our time lazing round the pool on those sunny, yet windy beach days. We always love our times at The Ramsgate Beach Cottage.

Also, be sure to visit the famous Waffle House while you’re there.

What a wonderful spot!!! The front of the cottage has lawn going right down to the beach. There is a rock pool which is ideal for little kiddies. The swimming pool at the rear of the house is closed off on all sides, keeping the wind at bay, is an additional bonus. Southbroom and Ramsgate Beaches, both serviced by Lifeguards and Eateries, are within walking distance, as are Shopping Malls, and many restaurants. A wonderful all round location.
Decor is simple, but everything is supplied, and the relaxed chill décor is ideal for a good beach holiday. The cottage has an alarm system, and is well secured.
Moleen and Thomas - looked after our every need and we were well spoilt.
Definitely a place I would return to!!!

We visited Gwenors Manage during the June winter holidays and had an amazing stay. The location and view is perfect. Only a few meters to the actual waves. We saw dolphins on a few occasions as well as rays, a whale and tons of other coastal life. It was a comfortable stay with a fully fitted kitchen. Moeleen and her husband Thomas who are the caretakers took time to make sure we were comfortable. The house has an alarm system so we slept safely at night. It was quite chilly, so we needed additional blankets on the beds. Made lots of memories.

What a great location!! Right on the beach and a short drive away from shops, restaurants and other holiday entertainment. The simple decor, fenced off and private pool and central living area spilling out on to the large garden & secluded beach with gorgeous rock pool (ideal for kids) makes for a relaxing & fun family stay. All that you can ask for in a beach cottage. I will be going back.

The house is neat and provides a lot of space for a large family with children. On a windy day the pool is completely protected. The front lawn rolls on to a mini beach/rock pool which is perfect for kids to play and swim in. The house is a short walk to Southbroom beach which has an excellent right hand break for surfing and beach for the family. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

This Ramsgate Cottage is a beach front property with an beautiful rock pool directly in front. This is a great place for a relaxing holiday with family.
