We were disappointed to see that the waterhole that was advertised and displayed in your pictures does not exist. It is a totally overgrown and fenced in swamp like bush which makes it near impossible to see any animals.
In 5 days we only saw one Zebra, a few Impala and one Nyala.
We could not go for a drive as there are only private roads. Some of the nearby places listed on the website is outdated and not available anymore.
Ie, I phoned Mahala View Lion Park, just to hear that they do not accept day visitors and they do not have lions anymore. The place itself is very dirty and in need of serious cleaning and maintenance. The braai almost collapsed, and we were scared to use it. It is evident that the place is only cleaned superficially, and places like behind the toilet is never cleaned.
We were given winter bedding in this heat!
The Neighbour in the Leopard unit had a dog that kept on barking at us and did its business on the lawn in front of our unit. It was left there for us to pick up.
Although the service from Shephard is exceptional, the Segaia management is unreachable.

We were a large group and booked the main lodge which was beautiful, big and spacious. The leopard lodge was also awesome. Shepherd was so friendly and attentive, he was even kind enough to start the indoor fire place for us. Definitely recommend!
