I have done a lot of Bass fishing weekends away and this was one of the best yet!
The cottage is large, modern and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The host (Chey) has done an excellent job in providing everything one could want from firewood to a two-plate portable gas stove to boil water during load shedding and even Emergency lamps in all of the light fittings and free-standing and bedside lamps.
The views from the bedrooms and veranda overlooking the dam, are outstanding. We were even permitted to check in early and check out late, adding great value to our weekend away.
The dam is well stocked, although the Bass (over 100 caught over the 2 days) were very small. We will definitely be back in a year or so when the Bass are photograph worthy. The three Kayaks provided are also in good condition.
