We got stranded on the N3 highway near Pinetown on a public holiday. Our vehicle was towed to the nearest Service Centre for repairs and we were stranded on the pavement in the industrial area with nowhere to go as we do not know the area at all. A person from a nearby business referred us to La Familia Guesthouse and within minutes, Miguel Hernandez picked us up personally and offered us a room at his Guest House. The reception was excellent and in no time, we were settled in for the night in a safe and comfortable room. The next morning Miguel arranged an Uber to take us back to our vehicle. By 17:00 the vehicle was still not running and we had to settle for the weekend. One call to Miguel and the Uber was there to pick us up and dropped as off at La Vida Guest House where he accommodated us for the weekend. Once again a very hearty reception from his staff and his parents who assisted us to settle in and made us comfortable for the unplanned stay. The room was neat and clean and comfortable and the rest of the communal facilities were at our disposal for use as we needed. On Monday morning our car was sorted and we were on the road again. Miguel contacted us to ensure that all was well and that we reached our destination safely. Thank you Miguel for going the extra miles to help us. May your business go from strength to strength. We will definitely recommend your Guest Houses to anyone traveling to Pinetown. We really appreciate your friendly and professional assistance.

Clean , central , very safe place close to the business district , the staff was excellent , Mijail went out of his way to make our stay memorable.

Clean rooms , good security , close to Pinetown CBD and New Germany . I enjoyed my stay and will be back .

The La Familia Guest House is so clean with lovely comfy beds and fantastic breakfast..the owner, his family and staff were absolutely fantastic couldn't do more for you..location is just brilliant a short drive to Hillcrest Farmers Market, Kloof Nature Reserve which was perfect..
Wonderful for families,couples or respectful groups of friends.
I would book to stay here again 100%

The guest house was very nice and clean. The hospitality there was on point. I would definetly recommend someone to go and book there. I love the view, garden, people there. I love everything about it...
